At least 2,000 civilians have died since Russia invaded Ukraine on Feb. 24, the Ukrainian state emergency service says.


Ten emergency responders were among the dead, it said in a Facebook post.

The UN had previously spoken of 142 civilian deaths.


Since then, more than 400 fires caused by enemy fire have been extinguished, according to the statement.

The emergency service also said that 500 people have been brought to safety.

Referring to the ongoing attacks, it warned that “every hour costs the lives of our children, women and defenders.’’

Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered a long-feared invasion of Ukraine on Thursday.

In a tweet on his verified Twitter handle, Pastor Enenche thanked Adeboye for his impact across the world, praying that God gives him more strength to continue his goodwill.

“Happy birthday to a Patriarch – Daddy G.O @ 80. Thank you for being a blessing to me and many across the globe.

“As your days are so shall your strength be in Jesus’ Name. Happy birthday, Sir”, he tweeted.

Similarly, Bishop Oyedepo also in a tweet on Wednesday morning, referred to Adeboye as a “mentor, a leader, a teacher, a man of generational impact”, wishing him more years on earth.
