Adeleke re-affirms support for the development of youths in Osun state,
......promises to continue to support them to make them realise their potentials
Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has reiterated the resolve of his administration to continue to promote policies and programmes aimed at advancing the growth and development of youths in Osun State and Nigeria as a whole.
Describing the youths as pillars of support to him and his administration, Governor Adeleke said their impacts can not be over emphasised,hence the need to continue to create an enabling environment for them to actualise their many potentials and dreams in life.
Represented by the State Commissioner for Youth Affairs, Hon. Moshood Olagunju, the state Governor made these remarks during a special prigramne tagged 2024 Abeere Corps Members Symposium organised by the Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Osun State, Hon. Ojo Isaac Sanmi.
With the theme, the growth and Development and Independence of every youth, the symposium which took place at the multi purpose cinference hall of Osun State Local Government Service Commisdion, State Secretariat, Abeere, attracted the presence of all serving NYSC members who are currently serving in all Ministries, Departments and Agencies of Government in the Osun State Government Secretariat.
Officials of the State Secretariat of NYSC too were in atrendance to give official support to the programme.
Earlier in his address, the convener of the Symposium, Hon. Ojo Isaac Sanmi popularly known as Ijoba appreciated and commended Governor Ademola Adeleke led administration for its positive disposition to the growth and emancipation of the teeming corps members serving in Osun State.
Hon Sanmi, who was the rallying point for the symposium identified the importance of giving necessary support and encouragement to the youths particularly NYSC members, which he noted, Ademola Adeleke led administration has not been found wanting in this regard.
Hon. Sanmi, particularly thanked his boss, Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye, the Chief of Staff to the Governor whom he descrived as a pillar of support to the programme.
The well attended symposium which was attended by top government officials in the state featured variety of events like music, dancing competition ,indoor games and other side attractions was later spiced up with fabulous gift items including food and drinks to the visibly impressed NYSC members, who in their various remarks, one after the other commended Governor demola Adeleke and his yourh friendly administration for its love, support and magnanimity to all the serving Corps members on National assignments of serving Nigeria in Osun State.
Other dignitaries in attendance during the symposium were the Chairman, Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Tunji Adeleke and Commissioners in the Board, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Protocol Matters,Hon.Olaniyi Akinlabi, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Tourism, Hon. Tope Anjoorin, Personal Assistant (Political) to the Chief of Staff,Hon.Shola and the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youth Affairs, Mrs Taiwo Oladunjoye among others too numerous to mention.
It would be recalled that, few months ago, Hon. Isaac Ojo Sanmi organised a clean up campaign programme in which all the corps members serving in different MDAs of the State Secretariat, Abeere embarked on a mass awareness clean up campaign of different offices.
